Entomology Loans

Loans are issued to scientific institutions only, and the institution is responsible for the loan. Loans are made for 3 years, except type material, for which the time is one year. Extension can usually be negotiated. Specimens are to be returned, properly packed, in the condition they were received. Standard dissections of non-type material is permitted, any other kind of preparation, whatsoever, requires permit. Prepared, sectioned or coated specimens are still part of the loan, and are to be returned. All specimens are being sent by registered mail.
A reprint is required in case results based on the loan are published.
